The first issue of the newsletter created by the Islamic Forum, "Treasure of Islam" (އިސްލާމީ ޚަޒާނާ) was released today. This newsletter was released during the morning assembly by assistant principal Zushan Kamaaludheen. Upon releasing the newsletter she urged all students to take sometime to read it.

"Treasure of Islam" contains Islamic dhivehi & english articles related to Science, Society and Daily life. The Islamic Forum hopes to create awareness amongst the students through this newsletter and they intend to release two issues of it every month. Furthermore a copy of this newsletter was distributed to every class of both the morning session and the afternoon session. After this distribution Islamic Forum president stated that he was overall satisfied with the quality of the newsletter even thought there are some improvements to be made ( as this was just the first issue ). He also said that a second issue of "Treasure of Islam" was set to be released before the mid term holidays.
